【Abstract】Objective Study on the relationship between the tumor size and location of non-small cell lung cancer and intrathoracic lymph node metastasis. Methods A total of 240 non-small cell lung cancer cases were include in the current study. These patients were surgically treated in Tumor Hospital of Jilin Province between January 2008 and December 2008. The tumor size was divided into five groups based on the IUCC/AJCC 2009,All the analysis were conducted using Pearson c2-test,to Study on the relationship between the tumor size and location of NSCLC and intrathoracic lymph node metastasis. Result Analysis revealed that there are no associations between sex, location of lung cancer(p>0.05). Univariate analysis revealed that tumor size affected lymph metastasis(p<0.01). Conclusion The study demonstrated that when the tumor size is grater than 3cm the probability of lymph metastas (N1+N2)is superior to that the the tumor size is equal or lesser than 3cm. There are also have relationship between the tumor location and lymph metastasis of N2: different tumor location, differernt position of the lumph metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer.
